Perth Breakfast Recommendation: Mrs. S

So maybe Perth, Western Australia isn't big enough to qualify for one of my 'Big City' reviews, but it certainly is worth a mention when it comes to food. The small Summer Bay-esque city is booming with contemporary new restaurants and is really turning heads for its innovative and creative style.

One of the best parts about holidaying in Australia is the chilled out weekend brunch culture. Everyone knows the Aussies do coffee better then most, however they are also known for setting new standards when it comes to late morning dining.

Madolyn misses Frankie

There is a delightful little Australian magazine I love dearly, her name is Frankie.

Frankie magazine offers a spread of clean white pages pasted with dreamy fashion editorials, crafty delights, and lyrical stories from founders Louise Bannister and Lara Burke as they spend their days op shopping and drinking cups of tea. Dedicated to celebrating music, arts, photography, fashion and pop culture's quirkier aspects, Frankie publishes the hidden treasures of Australian cities and abroad.

I miss this magazine so, can someone please send me a copy. I will love you forever!

Stolen from the album of Kiri Hamilton

Last year, I think it was in early November before the Australian summer got too hot to go out to tiny bars and before I departed to London destined never to see that kind of summer again, I met a pretty cool girl in a bar named Kiri. I think we started chatting because she had the same camera as me, or maybe it was because we had a friend in common, either way we hung out.

Turns out, very far from Perth, Kiri is also living in the UK and has been taking some amazing photos of her time here, including the one below.
